The moment my returning tongue passes past my throat to the bottom of my toes.
The moment ten toes stand up all at once.
The moment a feeling hung before my eyes shoots up violently from beneath my skin.
The moment I first discover flesh unknown in me.
The moment everything is damp warmth and sinking in.
The moment two bodies are covered in one flesh.
The moment two bodies become one, indistinguishable.
The moment blood courses through you by the beating of my heart.
The moment I breathe by your lungs.
The moment you are kicking inside my stomach.
The moment, as yet, unborn me is born a little more.
처음 네 입술이 열리고 내 혀가 네 입에 달리는 순간
혀만 남고 내 몸이 다 녹아버리는 순간
내 안에 들어온 혀가 식도를 지나 발가락 끝에 닿는 순간
열 개의 발가락이 한꺼번에 발기하는 순간
눈 달린 촉감이 살갗에 오톨도톨 돋아 오르는 순간
여태껏 내 안에 두고도 몰랐던 살을 처음 발견하는 순간
뜨거움과 질척거림과 스며듦이 나의 전부인 순간
두 몸이 하나의 살갗으로 덮여 있는 순간
두 몸이 하나의 살이 되어 서로 구분되지 않는 순간
네가 나의 심장으로 펄떡펄떡 뛰는 순간
내가 너의 허파로 숨 쉬는 순간
내 배 안에서 네가 발길질을 하는 순간
아직 다 태어나지 못한 내가 조금 더 태어나는 순간
