A woman embracing the shadow of a tree.
In the darkly sparkling afternoon,
she closes her eyes,
breathes a beat

and turns her head.
Her surroundings blur
and no one knows
the woman staring outside the frame.
People take photos
and delete them,
the blurred background becoming clear on their screens.
She breathes another beat

and her footsteps
hold onto,
spill out and over the tree’s shadow.

The shadow is gone.
A man passes by
and from above the walls music grows up.
A tree embracing the shadow of a woman.



여자는 나무의 그림자를 안고 있다
까맣게 빛나는 오후
눈을 감는다
한 박자 쉬고

고개를 돌린다
여자의 배경이 흐려진다
틀 밖을 응시하는 여자
아무도 모른다
사진을 찍는다
여자의 사진이 지워진다
흐려진 배경이 모니터 속에서 선명해진다
또 한 박자 쉬고

여자의 발걸음이 흐른다
나무의 그림자 발걸음을 붙든다
그림자 위로 흘러내리는
발걸음

그림자 지워진다
한 남자가 지나간다
모든 노래는 벽 위에서 자란다
나무는 여자의 그림자를 안고 있다
